About this Recipe
Use our Liviana Estate Select extra virgin olive oil to make this traditional South African favourite.
- 1 cup cake flour
- 1 cup Mielie Meal
- 2 eggs
- 1 can of creamy sweet corn
- 1 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp Liviana Estate Select extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
Step by Step Instructions
Grease a microwave-proof dish.
Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
Pour the mixture into a greased microwave-proof dish and microwave for 11 minutes.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes before cutting into squares and serving with a generous helping of butter.
