Our delicious olives are matured under the warm African sun in granite soils aided by biodynamic cultivation. We then cold-press the olives within 24 hours of being handpicked, the oil is then carefully bottled on the estate.
We have perfected our cold-press method, cold-press is a way to extract olive oil without the use of heat or harmful chemicals.
We crush the olives into a paste, then by applying force with a press we separate the oil from the pulp.
Cold pressing helps olive oil retain its nutritional value, as nutrients and beneficial plant compounds can break down under high heat.
The highest grades of extra virgin olive oils are always cold-pressed.
