Flaxseed is a nutritious small seed that provides several health benefits. It is a good plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids, which have been found in some studies to help with cholesterol levels and reduce inflammation. Flaxseed is also rich in lignans and high in fibre. Have you ever considered adding some extra fibre and healthy fats to a meat dish by adding an extra ingredient with no extra effort? Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp Liviana™ CBD-Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Liviana™ CBD-Infused Honey
  • ¼ cup plain low-fat yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tsp tumeric, ground
  • 1 tsp paprika, ground
  • 1 tsp wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tsp cumin, ground
  • 1 tsp coriander, ground
  • 5 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Add all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and combine until the chicken is fully covered. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Set aside to marinade for at least 25 minutes.

Step 3

Place the marinaded chicken onto a baking tray in an airfryer for 30 minutes at 180°C (pre-heated oven for 35 minutes).

Step 4

Brush the excess marinade over the chicken every 10 minutes for the best results.
