The much-anticipated 6th Aurora International Taste Challenge was held in late July 2024 in the picturesque wine region of Stellenbosch, South Africa. The event was a spectacular celebration of international food quality at the highest level, recognising excellent food and proudly presenting expertly judged products to customers, including our premium Liviana® Black Garlic in Estate Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil. 

Some of the world's most experienced food and beverage professionals, including chefs, sommeliers, and food experts, gathered to evaluate the products. The meticulous evaluation process began with over 3,000 tasting jars and containers at their disposal. Products are judged using a proprietary scoring system under a double-blind methodology. It was a formidable challenge to evaluate each product's unique attributes and criteria such as appearance, aroma, taste, texture, and aftertaste to select the very best.
