The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of fish, including dorado, blue nose, and yellowtail, often prepared in diverse styles. Enjoy options like Cajun blackened fish with a pink peppercorn and pecan nut crust or Moroccan grilled fish brushed with lemon juice, cumin, and coriander. A true Cape Town institution, Fish on the Rocks is a traditional fish and chips restaurant based on the shores of Hout Bay, with a stunning backdrop of Chapmans Peak and West Fort Cannons. Fresh fish is delivered daily from the Hout Bay harbour, with queues in summer stretching to 100 people. They offer a variety of seafood combos, including hake, snoek, calamari, and prawns, with options for grilled dishes and unique items like calamari burgers. The restaurant operates 365 days a year in a Halaal kitchen. Visit during the week and pop in to say hi to our team, as it’s right on our doorstep!

Kyoto Garden, situated in Gardens, is a tranquil Japanese seafood restaurant managed by American Scott Wood. After falling in love with Cape Town in the early 2000s, he founded Kyoto Garden. The restaurant offers an exquisite selection of Japanese cuisine, focusing on fresh seafood, including sushi, sashimi, and unique dishes like miso black cod and sea urchin.
