Baked Mediterranean Camembert
Enjoy the flavours and benefits of this Mediterranean-inspired classic baked camembert dish. A healthy twist on classic dishes can be the difference between average and healthy. Ingredients
- 1 whole camembert
- 1 cup baby plum tomatoes
- 5 cloves Liviana® Black Garlic
- 1 tbsp Liviana® Honey
- 1 tbsp Liviana® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 5 sprigs fresh thyme
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Score the camembert diagonally, halve the Liviana® Black Garlic and place into the cuts that were made into the camembert. Set the camembert aside.
- Place the rest of the ingredients into an oven proof dish and combine until the tomatoes are evenly covered.
- Roast the tomato and onion mixture in the oven for 20 minutes at 200°C.
- Remove the tomato and onions from the oven and place the scored camembert in the centre.
- Return to the oven for 5 minutes until the camembert starts to melt.
- Serve warm with thinly sliced toasted sourdough bread.
