Broccoli Sprouts and Kiwi Smoothie

Broccoli sprouts may be tiny in size but offer massive nutritional benefits. Broccoli sprouts are rich in the phytochemical glucoraphanin. This functional ingredient is converted into sulforaphane, which protects your cells against inflammation and prevents certain diseases such as cancer. These benefits increase when the sprouts are frozen and accompanied by a source of vitamin C. This smoothie has all of the above and can be made on the run.
