Roasted Garlic Butter
This is a must try butter-free butter! Never have you ever thought that butter could be healthy, delicious and easy-peasy to make. No need for fancy equipment, but you will end up with a sophisticated, and deliciously healthy spread to keep as a staple. Perfect as a condiment to any savoury sandwich, herb and garlic bread, and a flavour game changer for soups and stews. This all comes with the benefit of not being left with the same "side-effects" of eating fresh garlic!
Ingredients
- 3 bulbs of garlic
- 2 tbsp Liviana® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp Liviana® Crushed Garlic & Chilli (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 5 sprigs fresh flat leave parsley (can be substituted with basil or curly leaf parsley)
Serve with toasted sourdough, mozzarella cheese and fresh tomato.
Method
- Place the whole garlic bulbs in the sheet of foil and cover tightly.
- Bake in the oven or airfryer for 40 minutes at 180°C.
- Add the Liviana® Extra Virgin Olive Oil, salt and pepper, Liviana® Crushed Garlic and Chilli, lemon juice and parsley to a bowl and blend with a stick blender until smooth.
- Delicious as a butter-free butter on any sandwich or as a flavour bomb in soups and stews.
- Keep in a jar in the fridge for up to 4 weeks.
